At 7:15 pm UTC we see small, dark red pillars on the ground. At dusk, one of the schools is quickly picked up with the sonar and caught (haul 22). The catch consists only of sprat (10-14 cm), with the exception of a single broadtal shortfin squid (Illex coindetii).
